Archlute based on a design by Andrea Taus (Sienna, 1626) in the Victoria & Albert museum in London (no. 7/13), with 15 or 29 ribs made of walnut or fruit woods, spruce soundboard and ebony pegs. Solid or composite necks. With 10 tied frets. Single or triple rose. 13 or 14 courses.
